In the UK, sunlight during the winter months (from October to March) is not strong enough to provide you with sufficient Vitamin D. Sunbeds, when used safely, can provide the body with enough Vitamin D to ensure an efficient immune system throughout the winter.

Vitamin D is essential for good health.
To obtain sufficient levels of Vitamin D it is recommended that you receive around 20 minutes of un-protected UV exposure about 3 times a week. Any longer and you should apply sun cream or cover up to avoid burning. |
